。。“YOU ARE STAFF, MUST FOLLOW THE TIMING, START AT 830, FINISH AT 6…IF YOU COME AT 9, U END AT 630…BLAH BLAH BLAH….” 可是contract里我们只需要work 4 day, no timing whatsoever…ok, we follow loh…since u say oredi mah…
昨天,他们说Finance说我们签Credit card / Loan, 不可以 放公司的名字。。因为我们只是“SELF-EMPLOYED”。。。so cannot put company name…
。。haizzz….
。。haizzz。。。

灵异事件。。。tcc dun read...
Oh my god。。。
。haizz….

Protesters descend on Bangkok shopping district

BANGKOK: About 1,000 anti-government protesters marched past Bangkok's upmarket shopping malls on Monday accusing police of brutality, upping pressure on the increasingly-isolated prime minister.
In a repeat of a similar rally on Friday, supporters of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) handed out leaflets and CDs showing graphic images of protesters injured in a deadly clash with police earlier this month.
"The police try to distort the truth. I insist that what we bring is the whole truth," Somsak Kosaisuk, one of the PAD leaders, told crowds of people dressed in yellow shirts, which shows loyalty to the revered Thai king.
Two people were killed and nearly 500 injured on October 7 when police fired tear gas to prevent thousands of PAD supporters from blocking parliament, prompting some protesters to fight back.
A police officer at the scene Monday estimated that about 1,300 protesters had turned out, blocking much of the traffic on a normally-busy road. About 300 police officers stood on the sidelines.
The PAD are trying to bring down the democratically-elected People Power Party (PPP) government, accusing it of running the country on behalf of ousted and exiled premier Thaksin Shinawatra, who they accuse of corruption.
Although the PAD rally was sedate, Thai newspapers on Monday warned of possible clashes with pro-government groups.
Somyos Prueksakasemsuk, a pro-government activist, told AFP that they planned to gather supporters on Monday outside the National Police Headquarters, not far from the shopping district where the PAD are rallying.
"We will ask police to come and fight back if the army stages a coup... and we want to give moral support to police," Somyos said.
"We do not have the means to create violence because we are innocent people who will come out without weapons. We just want to keep our democratic system."
Thailand's powerful army chief on Thursday strongly hinted that Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat should step down and dissolve parliament to take responsibility for this month's clashes.
Somchai - Thaksin's brother-in-law - has only been in his post for a month after a court decision removed his predecessor Samak Sundaravej, and has insisted he will carry on in his role for the time being.

BANGKOK - High levels of the industrial chemical melamine have been found in condensed milk produced in Thailand, the public health ministry said Wednesday.
"Mali" has already been ordered off the shelves, it said, in the wake of a melamine scandal in China that has killed four children and sickened
thousands.
"According to the Food and Drug Administration, yesterday tests showed there was a very high concentration of melamine found in a sample of Mali condensed milk made with palm oil," Deputy Public Health Minister Wicharn Meenchainan said in a statement.
"Consumers and operators should not use such product for it may be harmful to the body," the statement said. - AFP/vm

BANGKOK: Thai police fired tear gas to try and disperse thousands of anti-government protesters massing outside parliament on Tuesday, injuring at least ten people, police and medical officials said.
Police fired off the rounds at about 6.20am (2320 GMT Monday) after rumours circulated that authorities would break up the fresh rally, state-run television channels reported.
A police official who did not want to be named told AFP that about 1,000 police officers used tear gas and smoke bombs against 2,000 protesters to try and retake control of a road in front of parliament.
Television stations showed images of demonstrators trying to barricade themselves around the outside of Bangkok's parliament building with piles of tyres, while ambulances rushed to the scene.
"More than ten protesters were injured from the police dispersing the protest, but as of now there are no deaths," Surachet Sathitniramai, a doctor from the national emergency centre, told AFP.
Thousands of supporters of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) marched to parliament late Monday, using trucks to try and seal off the building ahead of an address by the new cabinet.
Thailand's new government - who were sworn in late last month - are due on Tuesday to deliver their first policy address to the house, but the protesters are demanding the elected administration step down.
Protesters have occupied Bangkok's main government compound since late August, but many moved to nearby parliament Monday evening after lawmakers agreed in principle to amend the constitution - a move that the PAD opposes.
PAD leaders are demanding that the elected government step down because of its links to ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Protest leader Sondhi Limthongkul told the crowds who remained at Government House late Monday that the march on parliament would be their "final battle", but Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat insisted the house session would go ahead.
"It is not right for the PAD to obstruct the representatives of the people," he said on Monday, adding that police would maintain law and order to ensure lawmakers could get to parliament.
The PAD began their campaign in late May claiming that the ruling People Power Party's plan to amend the constitution was aimed at helping Thaksin escape graft charges, and they stormed Government House on August 26.
Authorities over the weekend arrested of key PAD leader Chamlong Srimuang and protest organiser Chaiwat Sinsuwong, heightening tensions in the kingdom.

SYDNEY: An offbeat suggestion that Australians should eat kangaroos instead of cattle and sheep has been given a scientific stamp of approval by the government's top climate change adviser.
The belching and farting of millions of farm animals is a major contributor to Australia's greenhouse gas emissions, Professor Ross Garnaut noted in a major report to the government on global warming.
Kangaroos, on the other hand, emit negligible amounts of methane gas.
If farmers were included in a system requiring industry to buy permits for the gas they produce, the cost of meat would rise and could lead to a change in eating habits, Garnaut said in the 600 page report released Wednesday.
"For most of Australia's human history – around 60,000 years – kangaroo was the main source of meat," he said.
"It could again become important. However, there are some significant barriers to this change, including livestock and farm management issues, consumer resistance and the gradual nature of change in food tastes."
Garnaut cited a study looking at the potential for kangaroos to replace sheep and cattle for meat production in Australia's rangelands, where kangaroos are already harvested.
The study concludes that by 2020, beef cattle and sheep numbers could be reduced by seven million and 36 million respectively, allowing for an increase in kangaroo numbers from 34 million now to 240 million by 2020.
This would be more than enough to replace the lost lamb and beef production, and kangaroo meat would become more profitable than cattle and sheep as the price of emissions permits increased.
Garnaut's report said livestock, mainly cattle and sheep, are responsible for some 67 percent of agricultural greenhouse gas emissions.
Despite being the national animal and appearing on the Australian coat of arms, millions of kangaroos are slaughtered in the wild each year to control their numbers and much of the meat is used for pet food.
The idea of farming them for human consumption is controversial, but many health-conscious Australians already eat kangaroo meat.
"It's low in fat, it's got high protein levels, it's very clean in the sense that basically it's the ultimate free range animal," says Peter Ampt of the University of New South Wales's Institute of Environmental Studies.

Motor Racing: Alonso wins drama-filled Singapore Grand Prix
By :
Date : 28 September 2008 2217 hrs (SST)
URL : http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/378960/1/.html
SINGAPORE: Spain's Fernando Alonso snapped a year-long win drought to take the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, winning a drama-filled first-ever night race as a comical error cost Felipe Massa dearly.
It was the Renault driver's first victory since the Italian Grand Prix last year and capped a remarkable weekend that saw him top two of the free practice sessions but start 15th on the grid after a mechanical problem in qualifying.
He claimed his 20th career triumph by 2.95 seconds over Germany's Nico Rosberg in a Williams and Britain's world championship leader Lewis Hamilton who came in third.
Toyota driver Timo Glock was fourth with Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel following up his win in Italy this month with fifth. BMW Sauber's Nick Heidfeld took sixth.
The race was a new experience for every driver on a street circuit under powerful spotlights and it turned out to be one of the most exciting of the season.
Despite dark clouds lurking, Singapore's notorious tropical downpours stayed away and the whole race was run in dry, but hot and humid conditions.
Ferrari's Massa started from pole but a disastrous mistake cost him the race and valuable points in his push for the world title.
His 13th place finish means he is now seven points behind Hamilton in the championship hunt with just three Grand Prix left at Japan, China and Brazil.
The Brazilian was in the pits on lap 15 when he was given the green light and drove off with the fuel hose still attached to his car, leaving one of the pit crew floored and subsequently carted off in a neck brace.
Massa ended up sitting in his Ferrari at the end of the pit lane as the crew ran after him and managed to pull the hose free, but it ruined his chances. He was given a drive through penalty and rejoined in 18th place.
It was a miserable night for Ferrari with defending world champion Kimi Raikkonen ramming his car into the barriers with just four laps to go, ending his race.
The Massa drama occurred after the cars came in when Nelson Piquet careered into the wall on the exit from turn 17, bouncing into the barriers on the other side of the track, causing massive damage to his Renault.
He climbed out unscathed but the safety car was deployed.
Massa was leading at the time with Hamilton second but at the restart, Rosberg was in front followed by Jarno Trulli and Giancarlo Fisichella, with Robert Kubica fourth and Alonso fifth.
Hamilton was ninth, but Rosberg and Kubica were subsequently slapped with a 10-second stop penalty for coming into the pits after the Piquet crash before it had opened.
The complicated scenario saw Toyota's Trulli in the lead on lap 28 but without having pitted with Alonso second, Rosberg third and Hamilton charging in sixth.
With Trulli taking his first pit stop soon after Alonso, who started from 15th on the grid, amazingly found himself in front just after the halfway mark with a 4.9 second lead over Rosberg.
Alonso came in for his second pit stop on lap 41 and came out still in the lead, marginally ahead of David Coulthard and Hamilton.
Remarkably, when Coulthard pitted soon after he too drove off with the fuel pipe attached, knocking over a mechanic who was stretchered off with an injured ankle, dropping the Scotsman to ninth.
There was more action to come.
Alonso was cruising with a 23 second lead when Adrian Sutil shunted his Force India into the wall, bringing the safety car out again and wiping out the Spaniard's advantage.
When they restarted with seven laps left it was a sprint to the finish and two-time world champion Alonso made no mistake, writing his name in the record books as the first winner of a Formula One night race.

5 more China-made products found tainted with melamine
By :
Date : 24 September 2008 2048 hrs (SST)
URL : http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/378140/1/.html
SINGAPORE: Five more China-made food products sold in Singapore have been detected to contain the industrial chemical melamine.
Two are flavoured milk and three are confectionaries containing milk powder as an ingredient.
They are: Dutch Lady Banana Flavoured Milk; Dutch Lady Honeydew Flavoured Milk; Silang - House of Steamed Potato - Potato Cracker; Puffed Rice Rolls - Butter Corn Flavour; and Puffed Rice Rolls - Cheese Flavour.
The latest findings bring the total number of affected products to eight.
The other products that were earlier found to be contaminated with melamine are Yi Li Choice Dairy Fruit Bar Yogurt Flavoured Ice Confection; Dutch Lady Strawberry Flavoured Milk; and White Rabbit Creamy Candy.
The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) says the public need not be unduly concerned as it has suspended the import and sale of all milk and milk products from China since 19 September.
AVA also says only low levels of melamine were detected in the affected products. Consumers have to consume large quantities of the contaminated products over a prolonged period of time to have any potential ill effects on health.
For example, an adult weighing 60kg needs to eat 13 packs of Silang House Steamed Potato crackers daily for an entire lifetime to be affected by melamine contamination.
Similarly, a child weighing 30kg will need to eat six-and-a-half packs of the potato crackers for the ill effects of melamine to take root.
For enquiries on affected products, consumers can call AVA's hotline at 63257625 during office hours (8.30am-6pm, Monday-Friday).
For health concerns associated with the ingestion of melamine, consumers can call Ministry of Health's hotline at 1800-2254122.
Consumers can also visit AVA's website for more information.

AVA, MOH say low melamine levels found in affected milk products here
By :
Date : 23 September 2008 2130 hrs (SST)
URL : http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/377917/1/.html
SINGAPORE: Singapore authorities have given the assurance that the risk of melamine poisoning to Singaporeans is low. There have been growing concerns after three China-made products in Singapore were found to be laced with the industrial product.
Authorities said the tainted products will have to be consumed over a prolonged period of time before one gets really sick. That's because the body can safely take in and purge some amount of melamine.
The Tolerable Daily Intake (TDI) of melamine as established by the US Food and Drug Administration is 0.63 mg/kg body weight.
This means that an adult weighing 60 kg or a child weighing 30 kg can ingest 37.8 mg of melamine and 18.9 mg of melamine respectively, everyday, over a lifetime without any appreciable health risk.
37.8 mg is about the size of a grain of rice.
The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) cited an example of drinking about 80ml of liquid everyday for an entire lifetime, before the ill effects of melamine take root.
The Ministry of Health also cited an example of an adult weighing about 60kg who ate 47 pieces of the white rabbit candy everyday over a lifetime and the health risk for this adult will still be very low.
For a child who weighs 30 kg, that's about 400 ml of the Dutch Lady Strawberry Flavoured milk daily over a lifetime.
And so there's very little chance that a child will be affected unless his sole source of food is tainted milk.
However, worried parents can still look out for certain symptoms.
Professor Yap Hui Kim, Head of Paediatric Nephrology, National University of Singapore, said: "In infants there will be a pain. And if there is a pain when one urinates, an older child will be able to tell you. Or they would scream when they're passing urine. Many of them will also come down with fever, will be unwell, and will vomit."
To date, government hospitals have not treated any child affected by melamine toxicity as a result of consuming contaminated milk or milk products.
Melamine is also not known to cause deformities in unborn infants.
According to a doctor from KK Hospital, there've also been no calls from parents with queries on this. The doctor added there is no cause of alarm as the amount of melamine found in the products sold in Singapore is too low to cause kidney stones.
The AVA added that it is widening checks to include products made in other countries but may contain China milk-based ingredients.
Dr Chua Sin Bin, CEO, AVA, said: "We have contacted our importers to track down from the suppliers whether their products are manufactured with China milk, as an ingredient. If it is stop it and don't import from them."
He added the AVA will also include melamine under its export certification process to ensure food found in Singapore is certified melamine-free.
Although only three China-made products have been found tainted in Singapore, the AVA said it cannot rule out more of tainted products, as it continues its battery of tests.
As to why melamine was not detected earlier, Dr Chua said 300 chemical compounds come into the market every year. So it needs to take a pragmatic approach to its tests.
He added that no agency in the world conducts food tests for melamine.
He said: "It is a very abnormal occurrence. It is because someone cheated and intentionally added this into the product to beat the system and nobody could dream of that."
Consumers can call the AVA at 6325 7625 or the Ministry of Health at 1800-2254 122 if they have queries.
National Environment Agency (NEA) officers have also been deployed to check on bakeries, cake shops, hawker centres, coffeeshops and school canteens to ensure vendors do not use tainted products. - CNA/vm

Study finds that cyber-loafing at work increases productivity
By :
Date : 11 September 2008 1020 hrs (SST)
URL : http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/lifestylenews/view/375152/1/.html
SINGAPORE: Men in Singapore do it for nearly an hour at work; women for 46 minutes. It’s called cyber-loafing, and most employees surveyed claim it actually helps them work better.
While employers have long worried over the man-hours lost and productivity costs due to staff engaged in personal emailing or browsing the Internet, some recent studies - including that done by two members of the NUS Business School’s Department of Management and Organisation - have found that workers in fact see such loafing as helpful.
Three in four local survey respondents agreed that it made work “more interesting”, while 57 per cent said it helped them deal with practical and personal issues at work.
What is interesting is the gender divide: Women tend to feel cyberloafing distracts them from work, postponing deadlines and completing less work. Men, however, are far more likely to claim a positive effect on their work.
The study based on a mail survey of 191 respondents - mostly young, single degree-holders - was done by Associate Professor Vivien Lim and Mr Don Chen. Most felt it was fine to cyber-loaf for 75 minutes daily at the office.
On the finding that this could help workers, the authors wrote: “One plausible reason is that browsing activities provided employees with an avenue of escape from work stress.”
They suggested that this could motivate them to perform better, and that companies should thus allow employees leeway to indulge in such non-work related online activities.
And just what are workers doing on the Internet at work?
Personal emailing, instant messaging and visiting news websites rank high on the list - although men are more likely than women to also browse sports websites.
But playing games, shopping and looking for another job online were low down the ladder. The reason? Respondents “found it difficult to rationalise that looking for employment online and engaging in online games would help them become more productive in their work,” said the authors.
So who most easily makes the switch from cyber-loafing back to work?
The men - they took four minutes compared with 10 minutes for women. “Studies have found that men are better in multi-tasking and find it easier to compartmentalise work and non-work demands,” said the authors.
Earlier studies done in the United States, such as those by WebSense.com, showed that the average time spent on non-work-related cyber-activities was about 10 hours per employee a week. - TODAY/ra

Instant Messaging Reduces Workplace Interruptions
Posted by Jeff on 06-04-2008, 01:58 PM
Employers seeking to decrease interruptions may want to have their workers use instant messaging software, a new study suggests. A recent study by researchers at Ohio State University and University of California, Irvine found that workers who used instant messaging on the job reported less interruption than colleagues who did not.
The study challenges the widespread belief that instant messaging leads to an increase in disruption. Some researchers have speculated that workers would use instant messaging in addition to the phone and e-mail, leading to increased interruption and reduced productivity.
Instead, research showed that instant messaging was often used as a substitute for other, more disruptive forms of communication such as the telephone, e-mail, and face-to-face conversations. Using instant messaging led to more conversations on the computer, but the conversations were briefer, said R. Kelly Garrett, co-author of the study and assistant professor of communication at Ohio State.
“The key take away is that instant messaging has some benefits where many people had feared that it might be harmful,” Garrett said.
“We found that the effect of instant messaging is actually positive. People who used instant messaging reported that they felt they were being interrupted less frequently.”
The study involved 912 people who worked at least 30 hours per week in an office and used a computer for at least five hours in a workday. Randomly selected participants from 12 metropolitan areas took a telephone survey between May and September 2006. The results were published recently in the Journal of Computer Mediated Communication.
The key to unlocking the effects of instant messaging lies in how people are using the technology, Garrett said.
Instead of dropping in unexpectedly, many are using the technology to check in with coworkers to see when they are available. Many also use the technology to get quick answers to general questions or to inquire about current work tasks instead of engaging in longer face-to-face conversations.
“We find that employees are quite strategic in their use of instant messaging. They are using it to check in with their colleagues to find out if they’re busy before interrupting them in a more intrusive way,” Garrett said.
Because of its unique setup, instant messaging allows users to control how and when they communicate with coworkers. The technology gives people the ability to flag their availability or postpone responses to a more convenient time, and because it is socially acceptable to ignore or dismiss a message, many use the technology to put off more disruptive conversations, he said.
“People see a new technology and they are innovative in how they use it. They will tailor their use of the technology to their needs and their expectations. And with IM, people had enough time to learn about the technology at home and to find ways to use it productively,” Garrett said.
“It is not the case that people are engaging in extensive conversations or trying to resolve complex problems over this very limited medium. Instead, people are using the technology to solicit answers to quick questions from colleagues and coordinate their conversations at more convenient times,” he said.
Ease of use and similarities to e-mail could foster greater acceptance of instant messaging in the workplace. And while the study provides clear evidence that instant messaging can be used successfully in the workplace, Garrett said the technology will not likely be as widely used as e-mail.
Garrett conducted the study with James N. Danziger, a professor of political science at the University of California, Irvine. The study was funded by the National Science Foundation and the Center for Research on Information Technology and Organizations at University of California, Irvine.

religious understanding & tolerance..
ytd,my colic suddenly developed sme rash..so i advised her 2 take sme anti-histamic med..but she refused, cos she was fasting,& she was juz barely 2 hrs fr e break fast time, she didnt 1 2 violate tt & nd 2 do extra fasting..???? i was quite amazed..& actually really wondered if she knew e purpose o fasting?? my idea or wat i understd abt fasting, is 2 experience e hunger & suffering o those who were less fortunate & poor...& 2 b more emphatic...it prob is a practical consideration on her part, but it actually made me wonder how much she knew abt her own religion..
another colic,he overslpt,so he didnt even 've his bfast, so he was starving even b4 e half way mark..den another chinese colic, said "XX u juz eat la,i promise i wldnt tell any1 u ate anything.."
_ _ wah lau, she really v bad leh..if it was meant 2 b a joke,it wasnt funny at all (in my opinion...)

shut e hell up
Supposedly she cant concentrate in doing her report at her own work-station…so she moved to the conference room, where it has oredi been occupied by another colic (cos e air-con is not cold enough at his work-station; which is due partly to me cos we share e air-con, but it really is 2 damned cold 4 me, I’m wearing a sweater & 1 shawl, so he moved inside the conference room which has an independent air-con which he can adjust to 14degrees…)
Anyway, she obviously can tink beta & can concentrate beta on writing e report by talking 2 tt guy colic all e time….& super loudly….
& she apparently has more energy & zest esp when e other guy colics come over during lunch 2 watch DVDs….her so “act cute” voice is damned irritating & high-pitched!!! (btw, she is e 1 who cause a mini-wave e other time by dating e nx door NS guy; tt in itself makes 4 another blog post…haha)
anyway, damned irritating of her!!! Plus she has been busy watching DVDs inside e conference room all these time…How shld I tactfully ask her 2 shut e hell up???

gender perspectives....
1. The nice men are ugly.
2. The handsome men are not nice.
3. The handsome and nice men are gay.
4. The handsome, nice and heterosexual men are married.
5. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men, have no money.
6. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men with money think women are only after their money.
7. The handsome men without money are after our money.
8. The handsome men, who are not so nice and somewhat heterosexual, don't think women are beautiful enough.
9. The men who think women are beautiful, that are heterosexual, somewhat nice and have money, are cowards.
10. The men who are somewhat handsome, somewhat nice and have some money and thank God are heterosexual, are shy and NEVER MAKE THE FIRST MOVE!!!!
11. The men who never make the first move, automatically lose interest in women when they take the initiative.
NOW, WHO THE HELL UNDERSTANDS MEN?
Quote from a woman who knows :
Men are like a fine wine... They all start out like grapes, and it's our job to stomp on them and keep them in the dark until they mature into something you'd like to have dinner with.

toilet habits...haha...
What Your Bathroom Habits Say About You |
You are very independent and self-centered. You don't solve other people's problems - and you don't expect them to solve yours. You spend a lot on clothes, and you tend to be a very dresser. However, it's hard for you to throw away trendy clothes when they go out of style. You are a very outgoing person. You are true to yourself, and you never hold back. In relationships, you are practical and realistic. You have a romantic side, but you only let it out when it's appropriate. |
e rock....
You Are Rock |
Powerful and overbearing, you intimidate people with your presence. People know they can't push you around, and they respect that. Deep down, you are calm, confident, and unmovable. You take everything pretty seriously, and you think deeply about all aspects of your life. You tend to feel smothered by paper people. You don't mind crushing the spirit of a scissors person. When you fight, you: Use all of your strength If someone makes you mad: You're likely to throw something at them |
i'm obsessed wif tis personality stuff...
Your Inner Color is Yellow |
Your Personality: Life's too short not to have fun. Your bright energy brings joy and laughter to those around you. You in Love: A total flirt, you need a lot of freedom to play. But you'll be loyal to that one person who makes you feel safe. Your Career: You love variety in a job, and you probably won't stick with one career. You would make a great professor, writer, or actor. |

i tink i'm really bored...ahha...
You See the World Through Orange Colored Glasses |
You live your live with enthusiasm. You enjoy what you have, and you are determined to live a happy life. You judge all your interactions through the lens of curiosity. You are genuinely interested in other people and tend not to be judgmental. You face challenges with a playful attitude. You are determined to succeed, and a part of you enjoys any challenge. You see love as the utmost expression of creativity. For you, love is about building a unique and interesting life together. At your worst, you are irritable and burned out. Sometimes you burn too brightly. You are happiest when you are given free reign to explore, create, and play. |
pasta test...haha
You Are Spaghetti with Pesto |
Compared to most people, you have complex tastes. You're a bit of a walking contradiction. You like a little bit of everything, even if the things you like don't go together. You aren't picky at all. You can find something to like about almost anything. You don't judge on appearances alone. You like to experience something before you judge it. |
What Your Soul Really Looks Like |
You are a wanderer. You constantly long for a new adventure, challenge, or eve a completely different life. You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds. You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you. Your near future is likely to be filled with great successes and accomplishments. You just need to figure out how to get there. For you, falling in love is all about the adventure and uncertainty. You can only fall in love with someone who keeps you guessing. |
i'm moon tis time rd...used 2 b wheel o fortune..
You are The Moon
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.
The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

she wrote e paper & sent it 2 boss wif LS as e 2nd author...when i learnt abt tis joint paper fr another colic, i was damned pissed loh..& V had e cheek 2 say tt she discussed wif me...she did not...neither did she discuss wif LS...
damned it loh...anyway, i'm gg 2 talk 2 LS...b4 i bring tis issue up 2 my boss...

WAT...................
b4 we set off 2 KL, last min, HN's dad dun 1 2 go up malacca, den his mom had 2nd tots also..so dilly dally here there...den when we were on e roads, 4got 2 take a letter tt HN's dad 1ed HN 2 help get sme uncle in Kl 2 sign (which in e end also never got signed)..
so by e time we were really really on e roads, it was oredi 11+am...so our plan o getting there 4 e lucky draw cldnt b met...
after we dropped off HN's mom & sis at malacca, we proceed on 2 KL, by den it was oredi 3pm...den we got lost in KL central, trying 2 find e hotel...so by e time we rc e dive expo, it was oredi 5pm...so our sat was spent travelling...
den we went 4 e PADI party...nth much, tot there wld b lucky draw like e spore 1...but no...so we had a few drinks, snacks, den we went off 2 "chi chong kai"...
didnt shop much..got new sunglasses (RM15 each)....not bad..;)
by e time we got bk 2 e hotel oredi 12+...shower, watch tv, almost 2am den we slpt..initially we were tinkin o gg 2 e KLCC, cos in e morn can get free tix den go all e way up..
BUT, we overslpt..haha..by e time we got up was oredi 1015am...& bfast stops at 1030!!! so we rush rush go down eat, heng it closed at 11am... w
we asked 4 a late chk-out, so we went 2 e dive expo (1230 lucky draw)...
we missed e 1st part o e luck draw where u juz nd 2 ans simple qns 2 get coffee table books etc..
anyway, i got a free wetsuit fr Pinnacle worth Rm560!!! but since i've juz bot a new 1 at adex, & HN's wetsuit got hole, so i gave him e prize instead...
after e 1230 lucky draw, it was close 2 115pm,& i nded a shower & we nd 2 chk-out our rm...so we went bk 2 e hotel (heng it was juz opp e dive expo)...
HN initially contemplated tt we shld give e grand lucky draw a miss, cos otherwise we wld b quite late by e time we go malacca 2 pick up his family, den drive bk JB... but since we still haven got e wetsuit, plus HN 1ed 2 buy e super cheap regulator, we decided tt we shld juz stay 4 e lucky draw...
e lucky draw took quite a while, but no luck...den in e middle, they gave aways prizes 4 e kids drawing competition..so long tt we went 2 get e regulators...while HN was busy chking his reg, e lucky draw started again..so i went 2 e seats 2 listen 2 e names picked & also 2 rest....
juz as HN came bk wif his reg, he had barely warmed his seat, his name was called out!!!
2nd prize 4 e grand draw!!!! 7D6N at cocotinos resort!!! wif diving included 4 2 pax!!!
but e most drama was tt after he collect his prize, sat down...den e lucky winner 4 e 1st prize: "ANNIE TAN".....
WAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was quite stunned...HN was even more stunned...he hasnt even got over his surprise at e 2nd prize...
1st prize was a full diving internship wif Air diving Academy (Bali) worth US$8000+...all e training until u bec an instructor!!!!
i had all e pics taken etc...den i nd 2 pass them my ic 2 cfm my details, e organizer told me tt there was another Annie Tan....
i wasnt v sad actually...i saw e lucky draw coupon tt they had picked, it wasnt mine...i honestly told e person, but she kp insisting tt i stay 1st, cos they nd 2 verify e other person...e other person's IC was in her dialect name...no Annie at all...& on e coupon, there was only e name, & 1 other word which was scribbled... e other annie produced her namecard wif "Annie Tan" & also "Ecolab" which was e word scribbled...
i congratulated e other annie...& was gg off, when e Boss o Air Diving Academy was there, & he said 2 give me a free 4D3N diving at Bali free!!!ahhaa....
i really cldnt believe our luck...thro'out e trip, i had been telling HN tt i 1ed 2 go Bali!!! & everytime tt e lucky draw prize was 2 Bali, i kp hoping tt they wld call my name...but no luck!!! den suddenly tis prize juz dropped into my lap!!!
ahaha...it was a truly dramatic & super luck trip!!!
now i'm wondering when we shld go 4 our trips!!! i'm looking out 4 e air-tix promo now...ahha...happily planning 4 my nx 2 diving trips 2 e 2 places tt i've been 1ing 2 go...=P
i'm super happy, cos i had a wonder seminar juz b4 i went on e KL trip....i'm so exhausted fr all e happiness...hahaa....

survivor - spore version
my office situation currently like a live survivor....Outwit, outplay, outlast....
actually it all boils down to 2 pple...or mayb 3...cos i shldnt discount her yet...
If u sian 2 read e whole story, e synopsis:
D & V super fake pple..wish i cld juz give them left rite center...XL remains untested on whether she is able 2 turn over a new leaf after major showdown..
For e more in depth story pls continue:
as last mentioned...
there are 6 pple including me in my side o e office...V, D, XL, LS, AL & me...
e other office, there r K, Jo, E, Je, CM & Dn...There used 2 b a Jn, but he left, was replaced by Dn...
E scene started as AL & V eating lunch..den V complained 2 Ap tt D free riding...Den K, Jo & me joined them...V talked until D really not doin anything other den on e phone..K started 2 add tt XL also same as D den...(tis was e starting o e big mistake...cos V is XL gd friend...but V say XL no longer gd friend; w i suspect is cos K & Jo dun like Xl, so 1ing 2 b in e gd bks o K & Jo, both o whom r boss' pets, o cos she also dun 1 2 associate wif XL la..)
Anyway, c-ing tt K mentioned Xl..AL decided tt it was ok 2 let V know how XL has been a free-rider...
Ltr on in e day, V fwd emails tt she had received fr D, 2 AL & me..
Email fr V 2 D:
I have oredi printed out e articles since u r not in yet, I tink i can finish it b4 gg 2 NTU 2 attend e talk. Can u try 2 cut out the rest o e newspaper articles?
Email fr D 2 V:
THANK YOU. I know wat to do. THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME.
Email fr D 2 V:
Sorry abt e previous email, accidentally pressed e CAPS.
o cos being e innocent AL & me...we were quite shocked by D's emails... V was supposedly v upset abt e emails & went over nx door 2 look 4 K, Jo & E...V had similarly fwd e emails 2 e 3 o them. But, she had sent 2 me & AL in 1 email; K, Jo & E in another. (btw, K, Jo, AL, all my gd friends in off)
So i happily tot nth happen la..& went hm...
but who knows, actually V had shot D a nasty email...which V didnt fwd 2 us...apparently, she had decided 2 tell D tt every1 in e off was not happy wif her, cos she was always comin in late, on e phone, not helpin 2 open doors, blatantly printing tonnes o paper 4 her thesis, takin extra time-offs, not clockin time-offs tt she took etc etc..V basically implicated every1...
So D went 3 individuals (XL(gd friend wif D), LS, CM & Je) & asked wat they were not happy abt her.. den she went 2 confront V...& D shot bk at V tt actually pple were equally unhappy wif her...
V got angry & things supposedly turned ugly..V went 2 K, Jo & E, & started 2 cry & tell them how evry1 was so fake blar blar blar...
i dunno how they finally ended e day...but e nx day...V talked 2 LS, & got angry wif him..saying tt LS double-cross her...
in e mean time, D started 2 approach AL...asking her if there was any prob within my grp (AL,XL & me were 1 grp; LS,V & D is 1 grp)...seem like D was trying 2 get more info fr AL...following tt encounter, XL approached AL...asking AL if she had anything unhappy wif her....& AL basically juz gave it all e way la...
(btw, tis 2nd day event i was not ard, cos on MC, but i was updated by AL & K)
e v nx morn....i came into office...LS & D (surprisingly was in oredi, she usu rc like 930 or 10; & it was barely 9..) were in...V had apparently moved her things over 2 e other office... AL & XL were both on course....
b4 long, LS went down 4 bfast...so it was D & me alone...she finally approached me....Asking me abt whehther i had anything tt i was not happy wif her...i asked her y she asked...she told me V told her tt every1 was not happy wif D...so she 1ed 2 know wat happened...she immediately stated e door swinging issue (which i shall put in another blog entry)...& i told her v frankly i was not happy abt e door thing la..& D came up wif all kinds o excuses abt her behaviour, which were truly all excuses only la 2 cover up 4 her bad attitude...blar blar blar she went on abt how e sys here was not gd...& tt she was trying 2 improve..blar blar blar...she was never on such gd terms wif me 1 loh....b4 she cld finish, V came in... LS, D & V were supposed 2 've mtg....
D immediately retreated bk into her cubicle....& V conveniently came 2 my cubicle...& started 2 tell me tt she was sorry tt i was on MC & had 2 listen 2 all e happenings...den she started 2 say tt she had moved 2 nx door, so tt she wld not feel angry & upset cos nx door she wldnt b c-ing D....how upset she is tt D backstab her...blar blar blar...den she said she 1ed 2 tell me more during lunch, so tt my relationship wif her wld not b strained by tis episode o things (frankly i have absolutely no relationship wif V...i totally dislike her..& at tt brief moment when she was pouring her displeasure abt D, i even sympathize wif her...which i must say was a great error on my part...)...
& e nx thing i know, she stepped out o my cubicle & started 2 chat, rather happily, wif D.... _ _
& D popped in my cubicle & said tt she 1ed 2 follow up ltr on... _ _
btw, during e whole "alliance building" wif me...both V & D, had tears circling their eyes...& on occasions they even seem like words got choked, & tt they might cry any moment....tt is how fake these 2 persons can b.....
anyway, i didnt talk 2 them after tt...i was totally not in e mood 2 know abt their fighting....& totally not interested in building alliance wif either o them...
XL did come 2 me though...& i told her rather frankly tt she nds 2 buck up in her work cos there is no way tt AL or me is gg 2 let her free-ride....
& tis concludes wat happened in e last 3 days o work....& i'm wondering wat antics D & V will b up 2 again tmr....i juz watch show only...but if they 1 2 step on my toes...sorry, they'll have 2 bear e consequences.....
verdict: have i decided who i 1 2 form alliance wif???? stay tuned 4 e nx episode o Spore Survivor......

manado portfolio 2...
flatworm imitating alien??? haha....
my 1st frogfish pic...
"watcha look at??? ai pa ah.."
i tink tis is a dwarf lionfish...
Spider crab???
flounder...alot o these flounders around..tis 1 is rather big..there were smaller 1s around...
"i borrowed e wig from octopus...hehe.."
below are the blur blur pics...
alot o these colorful urchins...
tis creature i tink it's called a scooter blenny (aka scooter dragonet), there's a similar 1 at e aquarium beside e koi pond in suntec..but tis 1 is white in color, while e usu scooter blenny is brown brown wif white patches.. tis scooter blenny can swim quite fast, move ard by using e little "fins" like walking like tt...HN also found a similar 1 in bunaken, but it was pinkish in color..
on a wat look like very dead, v boring coral, we saw a great assortment of creatures: e clown frogfish (2nd frogfish pic above), 1 shrimp, 1 crab (mayb 2, cos e other 1 2 small dunno is it a crab or not), 1 mini weedy filefish (barely 5cm long), & 1 ultra mini lionfish (barely 2cm long)..but my shooting skills cannot make it la..all blur blur...
e weedy filefish & e mini lionfish..
the weedy filefish close-up...
the ultra mini-lionfish close-up...
the blur blur shrimp on e left, e crab (i tink) on e rite, & at e bottom rite hand corner i tink another crab there..or mayb it's juz dirt la...haha..
