courage....

"Should I spot Sunny - and my few remaining friends - on the street, I trust I can muster the energy to walk up to them and say 'hi'. For, really, that is all it takes to keep a friendship alive.

The greatest regrets in our lives are the risks we did not take. If you think something will make you happy, go for it. Remember that we pass this way only once. "The hardest part in loving a person from a distance is not being able to hold her hand and embrace her tight and tell her how much you love her - because you are only a friend.""

-from earlier entry on friendship....

It is at moments like these, that we wonder if we would ever regret not having the courage. If things turn out well, you re-discover a long lost friend. If things go wrong, you just feel stupid (for a while) but nonetheless glad that you had the courage....Seriously, there is nothing to lose... but on the other hand, maybe you are not lacking the courage, you are just enjoying this moment... the beauty of incompleteness.

the part in red only reminds me of something that shameless told me once upon a sane time. He said if u like someone and this person starts referring u as a 'good fren' or 'a good brother to have', it means you are infinitely screwed.
